Lanier ramp intelligence — use the operator, not just the ramp name

Lake Monkey separates 45 named launch-site starters from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' lake-wide figure of 76 boat ramps. The directory now emphasizes operator, current 2026 fee/schedule notes, official addresses where published, and low-water cautions. A named site can contain several individual ramps or lanes, so 45 and 76 are intentionally not treated as the same count.

River ForksRamp currently closed for low water; Hall County says it reopens when the lake returns to a safe operating elevation.
Laurel Mega Ramp350-ft ramp reaching about elevation 1,048 ft, built to preserve access during drought conditions.
Dawson CountyNix 1 ramp · Thompson Creek 3 · Toto Creek 3 · War Hill 4; current boat-ramp fee is $6/day.
LOW-WATER NOTELanier ramps do not all quit at the same lake elevation.

The Corps' official planning table publishes different end-of-concrete elevations by ramp and lane. Lake Monkey uses that table only as a low-water reference; it does not subtract the live USGS NAVD88 gauge from the Corps' 1,071-ft NGVD29 pool reference because those datums are not interchangeable.
