LAKE MONKEYGUIDESwitch Lake
B. EVERETT JORDAN LAKE
B. Everett Jordan Lake covers about 13,940 acres at conservation pool in the heart of North Carolina’s Triangle region, with roughly 180 miles of shoreline and public recreation spread across multiple state-park access areas. Largemouth Bass and Black Crappie are backed by long-running NCWRC monitoring, and current management includes an F1 Largemouth Bass program plus Bodie Bass stocking. Jordan’s broad coves, creek arms, points and open reservoir water make it useful for everything from a focused fishing trip to a full weekend of boating, camping and wildlife watching. NC State Parks provides several major launch and camping areas, but their schedules differ by access, so the best trip starts by choosing the right side of the lake before leaving home.
